Bruce Beglin has been building boats for 12 years including 2 of John Brooks’ designs – the 12’ Ellen and the 18’ Peregrine. His shop is located at his residence in Beaver, Pennsylvania, 30 miles NW of Pittsburgh. He specializes in lapstrake construction and 2 of his boats ( the Peregrine and a 13’ Nordic pram ) won blue ribbons at Mid-Atlanic Small Craft Festivals.
